Tell us your name, age, and how long you’ve been with Wonder Village.
Mason: My name is Mason. I am six. I’ve been here for four years.
What is your first memory of Wonder Village?
Mason: I remember co-op at the farm. We took different classes. We learned about different animals. We learned a lot.
What programs do you look forward to going to the most?
Mason: I look forward to going to the rock climbing place the most. Maybe ice cream badges — I don’t even know if there is one — but I like ice cream.
Tell us your favorite Wonder Village moment.
Mason: My favorite Wonder Village moment was when I won this craft thing at the Wonder Village Ball — I won one of the raffles.
What is the first thing you think of when you hear “Wonder Village”?
Mason: I think of my mom because she’s the boss of Wonder Village and how much crafts she makes us do that are so fun. I think of my friends too.
What is something that always makes you smile when you’re at a Wonder Village event or class?
Mason: When my mom asks us if we want to play or have a break, because I get tired.
What is something new you learned at Wonder Village?
Mason: That everybody is a team, and even if you don’t know what to do sometimes, you can ask your friend and they’ll help you.
When did you feel proud of yourself?
Mason: When we made the flags of the different countries in the Americas and presented them to everybody in our group.
Was there a time you helped someone else?
Mason: My friend asked me for the sparkly green paper, and I gave it to her. I gave some red to Ellie too. Is that helping?
How do the teachers/leaders make you feel?
Mason: Teachers make me feel great and smart, and they also make me feel loved.
What was the coolest thing you built or did?
Mason: The coolest thing I ever made was this thing out of paper- a little dog. I made two little slats and put the dog in. I tried to cut a new shape of a tree and put it together to make it look like a tree so it could stand up, and I colored it — but then it ripped.
Why do you think other families should join Wonder Village?
Mason: Because the kids will learn more and it will be very helpful. Kids might learn a lot from my mom because she knows a lot about animals. It would be great. They would really learn a lot, make new friends, and have very good fun.
