Tell us your name, age, and how long you’ve been with Wonder Village.
Rosie: My name is Rosie. I am 8 years old, and I have been with Wonder Village for 4 years.
What is your first memory of Wonder Village?
Rosie: My first memory is in my backyard when my mom taught me and my friends.
What programs do you look forward to going to the most?
Rosie: The Winter Ball.
Tell us your favorite Wonder Village moment.
Rosie: When my mom got a bottle of soda and put little candy in the bottle and the soda shot into the sky.
What is the first thing you think of when you hear “Wonder Village”?
Rosie: I think of my mom.
What is something that always makes you smile when you’re at a Wonder Village event or class?
Rosie: Seeing all my friends at all my mom’s classes just makes me smile.
What is something new you learned at Wonder Village?
Rosie: That whales used to have legs and used to walk on land.
When did you feel proud of yourself?
Rosie: When we did a fake little thing where we were being weather reporters.
Was there a time you helped someone else?
Rosie: I’ve helped the younger kids during the clubs. I like helping the younger kids because I like little kids — they’re so cute — and it’s really cute to see them talk when they finally start talking and walking.
How do the teachers/leaders make you feel?
Rosie: I like having Brittany as our teacher and Mom as my teacher. I think I just like having people that we know as our teachers, and I want that to stay that way.
What was the coolest thing you built or did?
Rosie: I made a pulley out of toilet paper rolls, cardboard, spools, and little twigs to hold the spool on.
Why do you think other families should join Wonder Village?
Rosie: Because it’s the greatest thing I’ve ever been to, and we want more kids every time we start it so everyone can start learning and we can start growing bigger. We really think it’s a good idea to start calling my mom and asking to join Wonder Village.
