Mix, test, observe, and discover! Chemistry Explorers: Reactions & Discoveriesinvites students ages 7 and up to explore the exciting world of chemistry through hands-on investigations, creative challenges, and scientific problem-solving.
Each week, students will become scientists as they ask questions, make predictions, conduct experiments, and analyze results. Through engaging activities and open-ended challenges, participants will learn how chemists investigate the world around them while developing critical thinking, observation, and laboratory skills.
This class emphasizes curiosity, exploration, and discovery. Students will work independently and collaboratively as they tackle age-appropriate challenges that encourage them to think creatively, test ideas, and learn from both successes and failures.
Throughout the session, students will:
- Conduct hands-on experiments and investigations
- Practice scientific observation and data collection
- Develop problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Explore the properties of materials and substances
- Make predictions and test hypotheses
- Learn safe laboratory practices
- Build confidence as young scientists
Every challenge is designed to encourage curiosity, perseverance, and a deeper understanding of how science helps us understand the world around us.
Whether your child already loves science or is just beginning to explore it, Chemistry Challenge Lab provides a fun, engaging environment where learning happens through experimentation and discovery.

Ages 7+
Projects and activities will be differentiated to accommodate a variety of ages, abilities, and learning styles. Children seeking additional challenge will have opportunities to engage in more advanced extensions and deeper exploration of concepts, ensuring a meaningful experience for every participant.

Wonder Village Credit
⭐⭐ Enroll in 4 or more enrichment programs and spend at least $500 → Earn a $50 Wonder Village Credit
Wonder Village Co-op and Quest Club are not eligible for the Wonder Village Learning Passport program.
To qualify for Learning Passport credits, all eligible registrations must be purchased within the same season (current season: September–December).
Learning Passport credits may be applied toward eligible Wonder Village events, workshops, and future enrichment programs. Credits may not be applied to Co-op, Quest Club, membership fees, or other excluded programs.
