Dance Explorers: Pop Culture I

Get ready to move, groove, and shine! Pop Culture Dance Series is a high-energy class that introduces students to dance through music, trends, and choreography inspired by popular culture. Each week, dancers will learn new moves, build confidence, and develop coordination while having fun in a supportive and encouraging environment.
Students will explore a variety of dance styles, movement games, rhythm activities, and beginner choreography while learning how to express themselves through movement. No prior dance experience is necessary—just a willingness to participate, try new things, and have fun!
Throughout the session, students will:
- Learn age-appropriate dance techniques and choreography
- Build coordination, balance, flexibility, and body awareness
- Develop rhythm and musicality
- Improve confidence and stage presence
- Practice teamwork and collaboration
- Express creativity through movement and performance
- Participate in fun dance challenges and activities
This class focuses on movement, creativity, confidence, and community while providing a welcoming environment for dancers of all experience levels. Whether your child loves to perform or simply enjoys moving to music, Pop Culture Dance Series offers a fun and engaging way to stay active and build new skills.
Families will be invited to a casual end-of-session showcase where students can share what they have learned and celebrate their accomplishments.

Wonder Village Co-op and Quest Club are not eligible for the Wonder Village Learning Passport program.
To qualify for Learning Passport credits, all eligible registrations must be purchased within the same season (current season: September–December).
Learning Passport credits may be applied toward eligible Wonder Village events, workshops, and future enrichment programs. Credits may not be applied to Co-op, Quest Club, membership fees, or other excluded programs.
